Sarah Massie, M.Ed., is a passionate early childhood educator with over 14 years of experience teaching prekindergarten. She has taught special education and general education programming, including preschool, prekindergarten, and mixed-age classrooms. Sarah has served on numerous committees, including the District of Columbia Early Learning Standards Revision Committee, the Smithsonian National Zoo Teacher Advisory Council, and the ETS Praxis Early Childhood Multistate Standard Setting Committee. Most recently, she was an early childhood teacher leader with District of Columbia Public Schools. In that role, Sarah designed and facilitated professional learning experiences for teachers and served as an instructional leader in her school. She enjoys authoring curriculum materials with TCM and Shell Education and is excited to return to the classroom in the fall of 2024.
